Grrrr Obama

Obama team to send more troops to Arizona-Mexico border, but didn’t tell McCain or Kyl
The Obama administration announced it’s sending far more National Guard troops for the Arizona-Mexico border on Aug. 1 — but apparently somebody forgot to tell the state’s two Republican senators.
“We only learned nowadays about these more options for Arizona by way of an op-ed towards Arizona Republic,” said a joint statement from Sens. John McCain and Jon Kyl, both GOP members. “We appear forward to acquiring far more details about these assets, and providing correct input towards the Administration.”
Within the op-ed on efforts to counter illegal immigration, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano — a former Arizona governor — wrote that “National Guard deployments for the Southwest border announced by President Barack Obama earlier this summer will start on Aug. 1 to coincide with all the DHS assets being sent towards the Arizona border.”
“Furthermore,” Napolitano added, “the president has also requested that Congress suitable 0 million in supplemental funds for enhanced border protection and law-enforcement activities.”
Here’s other coverage from The Arizona Republic, which is a single of our sister papers.
And here’s extra from McCain and Kyl:
The announcement of added personnel and assets to Arizona can be a step within the proper direction. Nevertheless, a great deal a lot more requirements to be carried out. We appear forward to working using the Administration to make this deployment of Federal agents permanent and toward the adoption of our 10-point border plan too.
Needless to say, McCain and Kyl are also upset with Obama administration over its lawsuit against that controversial Arizona immigration law.
